- Atlas RS-1 #1215. (Kato under frame) Painted and detailed by Vilhelm
Sjölin
- Due to overload during a long test run the autumn 2001 a
resistor for constant lighting mounted under the short hood was
overheated and caused a fire which melted almost half the hood
down. At this photo the hood is rebuilt and painted. Sunshades,
windowsills for the drivers (but no bays yet) and roller blinds for the
cooler is mounted.

- This photo has been taken outdoors in the sun. The
goal is to achieve the same angles and similar atmosphere as in the
prototype photo below. The result is as is. It's difficult.

- Hard to find similar angle as in prototype photo below.

- One sister engine was built to be Spokane International #207 and
later
SI #1218 during the UP leasing era. Then sold to Chrome Crankshaft Co
and further on to Tidewater Southern as #746 and later to Central California
Traction as #80. Since 1992 private owned by Matt Monson
and stored in Willits, California, still in
CCT paint scheme. Hopefully still going strong!
